These Terms of Service apply to the website www.ecore7.com, including the customer portal at www.ecore7.com/mcx and the MCX Lab Demo (together, the “website”), operated by eCoreSeven (“eCoreSeven”, “we”, “us”). By using the website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the website.
1. Information on this website
The website describes our products and services – among them the Ecore7 core network, the MCX Server Emulator, the MCX Test Client and our lab packages. All descriptions, technical data and prices are for general information. They are not a binding offer.
- Prices are given in EUR, excluding VAT, taxes, shipping and travel costs, and may change at any time. Prices marked “from” are starting prices.
- A contract is concluded only when we confirm an order in writing or when both parties sign a quote or contract.
- The use of our software is governed by the licence agreement delivered with it. If that agreement differs from these terms, the licence agreement prevails.
2. Customer portal and demo access
- Access to the customer portal is personal. Keep your user name and password confidential and do not share them. Tell us at once if you suspect misuse.
- We may suspend or end an access at any time, in particular after misuse or after long inactivity.
- You must not attack, overload or test the security of the website, try to access data that is not meant for you, copy the website or the demo automatically, or reverse-engineer, decompile or copy the demo or its code.
3. The MCX Lab Demo
The MCX Lab Demo runs entirely in your web browser. All network elements, devices, calls, messages, video streams and measured values in the demo are simulated. They illustrate how our products work. They are not measurements of real equipment and are no promise of performance in your network.
4. Test and validation products
Our MCX products and the Ecore7 core are tools for laboratories, pilots, acceptance tests and private networks. Unless agreed otherwise in writing, they are not certified for operational mission-critical, public-safety or safety-related railway communication. The customer is responsible for choosing the products for its purpose and for the results it derives from them.
5. Intellectual property
All content of the website – text, pictures, screenshots, software, the demo and the design – is protected by copyright and belongs to eCoreSeven or its licensors. You may view and print pages for your own information. Any other use requires our prior written permission.
Product and company names of third parties may be their trademarks. References to standards (for example 3GPP or ETSI specifications) only describe technical functions. Some of our products contain open-source software; the licences of these components apply to them and are listed in the product documentation.
6. No warranty
We take care that the website is correct and available, but we provide it “as is”. We do not guarantee that it is complete, correct, up to date or always available.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, eCoreSeven is not liable for damages that arise from the use of the website or the demo, in particular for lost profit, lost data or indirect damages. This does not limit liability for intent or gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
8. Links to other websites
The website may link to websites of third parties. We have no influence on their content and are not responsible for it.
9. Export control
Our products contain telecommunication and encryption software. You must comply with all export control and sanctions laws that apply to you when you buy, use or pass on our products.
10. Privacy
How we process personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes
We may change these terms at any time. The version published on this page at the time of your use applies.
12. Applicable law and place of jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. The courts of Calgary, Alberta, have jurisdiction. Mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected.
